Wedding suiting at The Columbia of Duluth

Weddings

Your wedding, handled from this corner.

Groom, party, and father of the bride. Purchase, rental, or made to measure, with the timeline managed by people who do this every week.

Engaged? You are earlier than you think.

The engagement shoot comes first, and it is the best first fitting there is. Start with the wardrobe consult and your sizes are already on file when the wedding conversation starts.

The Engagement Wardrobe Consult

The Wedding Ledger

We keep a ledger of the weddings we dress. Yours is next. Tell us about your wedding and we will open your page: a plan for the suits, the colors, and the party, ready before you ever walk through the door.

Nine quick questions. Your page stays yours: revisit it, share it with the party, and book the consultation right from it.

If you have a question that isn't here, just call or email. We're easy to reach and genuinely happy to talk it through.

Rent, buy, or made to measure

Three honest paths. We will tell you which one fits your date and your party, not which one fits our shelf.

When should you start?

Count backward from the date. Wherever you are on this line, there is a path that works; earlier just means more choices.

  1. Six months out

Pick the direction: rent, buy, or made to measure. One visit settles it.

  2. 8 to 10 weeks out

The made-to-measure window. After this we move to off-the-rack or rental, and both still fit right.

  3. Six weeks out

The party is measured, wherever they live. Nobody flies in early for a tape measure.

  4. Two weeks out

Final fittings, pressing, and the checklist you do not have to keep.

  5. Wedding week

Everything is ready. Suits that ship ahead land with our Arrival Service and wait for their owners.

The wedding party, coordinated

Sizes collected wherever the party lives, fittings scheduled in one pass, ship-ahead handling for the out-of-town suits. One person does not have to chase eight.

How the party works

Father of the bride

You have your own photos to stand in. Same ledger, same fitting care, your own appointment. Tell us the date and whether the couple has a color direction; we will handle the rest.

The day of, covered

Every wedding we dress leaves with a day-of emergency kit with a prepaid return label inside. Collar stays, a sewing kit, the small fixes; and when the day is over, the prepaid label means the return can go in the mail instead of on your list.
